So as any readers might know I have been out of school for about a month.  Things are going good, doing some freelance work shooting and editing right now.  My sister just got a job teaching in Texas, which is awesome, and some friends have also gotten some great jobs in the city.

I just recently added a piece I did for the Bradley Renaissance Gala, so you all should check that out.  The art page is finally up as well, and I am really happy with that. New reel edit coming sometime in the future so keep checking.

As you all can see I have redesigned the main site.  The blog for now will be kept as is, even though it no longer matches, I will make due till I decide if I want to keep and use it.

The main site was redesigned because I had always disliked the front page and project pages, I felt the front page hindered the site and did not help people see my work.  I thought individual project pages did not show all the information I wanted them to either so thos got a redesign, as did the SQL back end they are built on.

The new front page puts the work front and center, with the main reel up top, and large, and projects directly linked below it.  No more separate projects page.

Although it is linked in Sven’s post the video below is one I put together from a bunch of the footage we had from the event. The piece shows off some of the text messaging sections, the memories and game-show. There are some great reaction shots, and it is worth the watch.

I came in late today to a flurry of activity.

We got Jon in today to continue work on Watchout, and have added another table to the video room here. Jazz band and speech practices have been going on all morning and we have been finding and fixing the last little video problems we have.

We have gone down to 2 Watchout boxes, with another two running as a backup show. This seems to be the best answer, as the screens then get cloned after they come out of Watchout.

Hopefully we get a run in tonight at 5 or 6, of the whole show.

So after a long day we finally got the projectors up to do a quick test of the video and make sure the guys from OSA were getting the signal.

Everything looked great, the music wa splaying and the dancers were practicing, and you can really feel the show coming together.

OSA was out at 7, so now we just have to update our media, maybe do some tests, and call it a night.  Tomorrow we start again.

Watchout is running with VNC in and sound is going out, although I hear from the sound guys it is not the greatest quality.  Hopefully the optical to balanced will be better

Still looking to get pics up from today, my card reader is down so you may have to wait.
